Training of ICWAI Students under Industrial Training Scheme

This is to notify you regarding the selection of ICWAI (Inter) Candidates registered in your chapter for imparting training in Costs and Work Accounts in our Organization under the Cost and Works Accountant Act 1959 and its rules.

Terms and Conditions of Training

1. The maximum period of engagement would be for three years (9 months each year)

2. The rate of stipend would be Rs. 12,000/-, Rs. 14,000/- and Rs. 16,000/- for 1st, 2nd and 3rd year respectively

3. The selected candidate would be required to execute an Indemnity Bond on a nonjudicial stamp paper valued at Rs. 20/- in the prescribed format The candidate should be in possession of a qualifying mark sheet having passed the

4. the intermediate examination of ICWAI

5. The period of training is terminable on either side with 24 hours' notice without any liability of payment of dues in lieu of notice period. BHEL reserves its right to terminate the training, if, in the option of BHEL, the candidate is not subjecting himself/herself to proper and disciplined training

6. The training will be required to be present and undergo industrial training as per the normal shift timings

7. Trainee will have to arrange his/her own accommodation, transport, etc.

8. The trainee will be entitled to Nine (9) days of Casual Leave (CL) during the period of Nine (9) months. Any absence beyond this prescribed 9 days of CL, pro-rata reduction shall be made in the stipend payable to him/her

9. The trainee will have to maintain work diary and submit the same on a monthly basis to the HRD through the Officer-in-Charge of the Finance Department in which he is placed for training

10. BHEL does not either explicitly or implicitly guarantee any appointment in regular establishment after the period of training

11. BHEL will also not be liable for any compensation legal or otherwise consequent on any accident that the trainee expose himself/herself during the period of training at the workplace in which he/she is positioned.
