Job Title: Senior Accounting Specialist

Job Description

You are responsible for

Ensure that bookings / accounting is accurately and timely maintained. 

Review that all balances are correctly held and that adequate reconciliations are available with appropriate documentation

Verify compliance with accounting standards and regulations. 

Responsible for the following activities - Posting JVs, cycle execution, forex revaluation, validation clearing and loading ORUs into consolidation tool.

Support and work with Market facing and Business Partners in timely close of month end activities 

Provide accurate & timely data for fiscal reporting and other requirements. 

Complete Internal Controls work in accordance with the Internal Control Standard  and update( ICS tool on a timely and accurate basis.

You are a part of


As senior accounting specialist you will be part of the Month End Close team and closely working with other CoEs, market facing team and the business partners


To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

· CA/ICWA fresher or or MBA Finance with at least 4-5 years of experience

· Good in excel, knowledge in SAP is an added advantage, Lean trained/tested preferably

· Ability to work under pressure, should be able to manage multiple stakeholders, penchant for bringing new ideas and looking for continuous  improvements

Candidates having relevant Post Qualification experience of Engineering Services in large size Chemicals/Chlor-Alkali / Petrochemical industries will be an added advantage.

Roles and Responsibilities Accounting of costs, accrual for various types of expenses and its accounting and reporting requirements.

Good hands on costing experience will be preferred

Perform reconciliations and trend analysis on time to ensure that reported financials are correct.

Timely month end book closing and accounting.

Inter Company invoice booking and reconciliation for seamless consolidation of Financials.
