 This is a FP&A Analyst- Functional Controlling role, reporting to Team Lead and will be a part of Global Business Services (GBS), based in Bangalore. Providing Financial Planning and Analyze expertise to the organization by compiling and analyzing metrics, identifying trends and problems, communicating information to relevant groups and recommending actions to improve financial performance.

Your responsibilities

  • Performing analysis of business performance versus Plan and forecast. Performing month end closing activities and MIS reports for the respective business / functions.
  • Working with the other financial professionals in Divisions / Hubs / Countries / functions to understand and analyze the drivers of financial performance. Analysis of overhead under / over absorption indicating root cause.
  • Performing cost / benefit analysis and analysis of inventories, NWC, Preparing ad-hoc reports as per business / function’s request. Supporting preparation of relevant organization financial reporting, business planning & forecasting and Supporting audits.
  • Validating accuracy of financial data and business information and reports by performing reconciliation and review of exceptions. Optimize own performance to increase productivity by developing automated solutions, eliminating duplications, coordinating information requirements. Identify areas for process / report standardization across different countries, divisions and business units.
  • Ensure processes and controls within own area of responsibility are implemented in line with Group and unit requirements. Maintain proper audit trail and documentation for future tax / internal / external audits and reviews and Maintain SOPs for all activities performed.

Your background

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting with CMA/ CA / MBA.
  • 2-4 year experience in Financial Planning and Analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Thorough / detail oriented approach.
  • Strong communication skills and Fluent in English.
  • Hands on experience in SAP FICO modules preferred, experience with MS Office.
  • Ability to work with diverse teams across different countries. Self-motivated with a strong commitment to quality.

We are looking to hire Finance Executive

Key Responsibilities Area

(A) Filing of GST Returns

Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Returns (GSTR1, GSTR3B, ITC04, GSTR 9 / 9C etc.)

Responsibility to ensure data validation, proper reconciliation with centrally managed control numbers along with supporting registers, Extracting and Reviewing Documents as per Returns’ requirement, Payment processing, Online Returns filing on GST portal etc.

Regular co-ordination with TOPS team and Units

To ensure complete co-ordination with TOPS team / Units / Depots / Other Functions to ensure timely closure of all relevant issues.

To ensure collection of all backup documents for every figure reported.

(B) Interaction with Government Authorities / Handling GST Audit / RS queries / Sales field queries

Preparation for reply to Government Authorities - On receipt of notices compilation and collection of data, information and documents preparing reply for submission.

Archival of notices and response.

To visit to government department to file reply, verification of documents, adjournments etc. as and when required. Regular compilation of information, documents etc. in line with general requirement of Notices.

Handling e-way Bill matters (Truck detention).

Responding to RS and sales team queries.

(C) Annual Return filing

Validation of Annual Return working, duly supported by back up registers.

Ensuring correctness in data upload on Government portal and archival of entire working in hard and soft forms.

(D) E-way Bill and GSTR2A reconciliation

Prima facie GSTR2a / EWB reconciliation is Tops responsibility and once file is received then need to check it with return and ensure all back up are available. In case of difference need toc ordinate with tops to close the reconciliation items.

(D) Export Refund

Based on State’s requirement - filing and follow up with Government authorities for refund application and requirement related to refund.

(E) MIS analysis and action

To use available MIS reports in improving efficiency and performance.

Keep exploring existing “Way of Working” to identify loopholes of the system and accordingly corrective action.

Providing support for centralised reporting such as CARO, input for CAD team etc.

(F) Regular Learning and development

Regular analysis of Notifications, Advance Rulings etc. and application in routine working.

Sprit of regular learning and working on self – developing.

Always display TEAM spirit and share learnings with others for collective improvement.

Key Skills Requirement

  • Educational qualification

CA / CWA / CS – Inter with Commerce background, OR M. Com.

  • Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in GST regime with good knowledge of GST Act.
  • Good Knowledge of SAP and MS-Office including excel, power point, word, outlook etc.
  • Positive mindset and Good learning ability.
  • Good Communication and Quality to handle Department officers.

(HUDCO) is a premier techno-finance institution under the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, Govt. of India, having its Registered office at HUDCO Bhawan, Core /A, india Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003, and one of its Regional Office at Block No. DJ, Plot No.-11, Sector-Il, Karunamoyne Sall Lake, Kolkata-700091, is in the process of engaging Management Trainee preferably inter pass candidate for a period of 15 months from the date of reporting for the Training.


As per our Guidelines, we are in the process of engaging student (Preferably Inter qualified) with Cost Accountancy background as Management Trainee for 15 months training at Regional Office, HUDCO situated at Salt Lake, Kolkata Following are the brief information for the Training:


a) The Management Trainee shall undergo training in our Finance Department covering various work like-General Accounts, Taxation and Budget, Project Finance and Loan Appraisal, Credit Monitoring Public Deposit, Hetail Home Loan etc..

b) The duration of the said training shall be 15 months. This training cannot be claimed for any permanent/temporary/contractual or any job assignment with HUDCO. HUDCO will have the full fight to terminate the engagement any time without assigning any reason thereof

c) The consolidated stipend for the ICAl Inter passed students would be Rs.19,066/- per month, as per Minimum Wages of Delhi Govt. (revised from time to time).

d) All candidates having completed Graduation post 2016 (ie, Date of Marksheet/ Result being on or after 01.01.2017) shall be eligible for the above engagement 

e) The preferabic age of the candidate should be upto 30 years

f) The candidate should be a resident of West Bengal, (.e, Outstation candidate should stay at Local PG/Hostel,
