Cost Analyst

In this role, you will support Assitant Process Manager in financial analysis and reporting.

You will be based in Chakan, Pune

What You Will Do

As Cost Analyst, you will:

Provide accurate information for financial reporting and have specialised knowledge of all processes and procedures. Works autonomously within established procedures and practices. May act as a lead, providing subject matter guidance to team members.

Perform accounting tasks that require expertise and business understanding.

Handle interactions with external and internal partners

Be typically involved in one or in some cases several processes e.g. OtC, PtP or RtR for one or multiple entities in different countries

Perform a variety of accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards

Collect, compile, verify, and analyze financial information and prepare financial reports and accounting statements, undertake product costing, prepare complex adhoc information .

Reconcile more complex accounts, post journal entries, and maintain a complete and accurate general ledger in accordance with accounting principles and reporting schedules.

Provide technical accounting advice within area of expertise to functional or Operational Area Managers

Drive process improvements and functional KPIs

Coach less experienced accounting staff

Independently take discussions about standard and escalated issues with external/internal stakeholders

Who You Are

We believe you have:

Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience

Qualification: CA / ICWA / CMA

Strong stakeholder management skills, thorough with accounting principles

Knowledge of Advance Excel including VB macros, SAP would be an added advantage.
