Senior Analyst  - Cost Accountant

Location: Mumbai

Experience & Exposure Requirements:

IT industry experience or experience in Big 4 or equivalent audit firm would be preferred.

Prefer ICWA/ICMAI/ICWAI

Prepare/Post monthly journal entries manually or initiate JE creation through accounting software program

Review JEs carefully for anomalies and other inconsistencies

Prepare monthly and quarterly cost accounting reports for submission to management

Classify costs accurately

Generate PPV reports and analyze findings

Establish standard costs and update them as appropriate

Maintain and review the general ledger and reconcile balance sheets

Conduct inventory reserve analysis on a monthly/quarterly basis and generate reports for senior management

Conduct Warranty and Contract manufacturer reserve analysis on a monthly/quarterly basis

Coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain Logistics, FP&A team for planning and driving business analytics
